Another social book marking service has been launched called Markaboo. Similar to existing sites, such as del.icio.us, this service lets you bookmark sites and tag them with relevant keywords for sharing and easy reference later on. Markaboo takes the concept a few steps further, however, and allows the book marking and tagging of photos, notes and URLs.
According to Markaboo: "MarkaBoo makes it easy organize your data and share it with others. Bookmark websites, files and notes side-by-side from your browser, email, or mobile phone."
You can read a recent review of Markaboo over at TechCrunch.
More information on Markaboo as outlined at their website:
Every MarkaBoo category has an Atom xml feed to make subscribing easy. File bookmarks are added to the feed as enclosures, making podcasting a snap.
Upload your syllabus, class notes, or study guide and use MarkaBoo’s comment system to create a discussion. Check out this sample.
Upload your photos to MarkaBoo to share them with friends and family. Have a peek at these pictures.
Upload your band’s demos and mixes then share them with the world. Or bookmark a playlist and start a virtual radio station. Check out this indie music collection.Tags: markaboo, social+bookmarking, tags, tagging
